How it works
Creators who publish on Tapas and have their Tapas Merch Shop unlocked are able to upload their artwork and design their own t-shirts, hoodies and other merchandise. All independent creators can set their own profit for products, so similar merchandise may have different prices based on the creators’ settings.
Every item you find in our shop is made to order, meaning that the designs are printed after an order is placed. This system allows creators of any follower size to offer their own merch without having to invest their own money, and ensures no item is produced more than it is sold, keeping waste as low as possible. As each merch item is created uniquely for your order, please make sure to review delivery and return policies found on this page before purchasing.
How to open your own shop
During the Beta phase of our shop it is only open to a limited number of creators. However, we’re looking to make it accessible to as many creators in our community as possible. Please join our Discord for updates!
When will I get my order?
Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
USA: 3 - 4 business days
Europe: 6 - 8 business days
Australia: 2 - 14 business days
Japan: 4 - 8 business days
International: 10 - 20 business days
Because of Covid-19, our fulfillment times may be longer than usual due to delays in our supply chain. Currently, deliveries may take an additional 2-5 days. This timeframe may be updated as conditions change.
Where will my order ship from?
We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide!
Will I be charged customs for my order?
An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.
We highly recommend including your phone number in the order when ordering internationally - this will minimize the risk of order being lost in transit and make delivery of the order smoother.
My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
Ask your local post office if they have your package
Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them
If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number.
How are your products made?
We work with a print-on-demand drop shipper. They have locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently!
What payment methods are available?
You will need a PayPal account in order to be able to purchase items from our store. Other payment methods are currently not available.
Which items are available in my country?
We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide! However, some fulfillment facilities do not always have all sizes and color options available. If a design is shown as available in your country in the Tapas Merch Shop, but isn’t available once it is in your cart, try a different color or size combination. Common colors like white and black are often widely available in most sizes around the world.
How do I track my order?
You can track your order on your order detail page once it has shipped out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop us a line at email@example.com.
Can I cancel my order?
All orders are final - we cannot cancel orders once they have started production. You have the option to cancel your order in “Your Orders” for a short period of time after you’ve placed your order. If that option is no longer available, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and we’ll check if it can still be canceled.
I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please fill in a “Return and Exchange form” found in “Your Orders” within 14 days of receiving your damaged product. This option will automatically disappear once the 14 days have passed, so make sure to fill in the form as quickly as possible to resolve your issue!
My items smell or are discolored, what do I do?
Sometimes there might be a vinegary smell on the garments you receive. Luckily, the odor you smell is just a temporary addition. Now that your product is out of the confined space of the shipping bag, the printing smell will dissipate after a few days and a wash cycle.
You may notice some discoloration or off white residue on your apparel. Do not worry! These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle. Our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology. In addition, inks used are water based and eco-friendly.
If you receive a product with a stain - please wash it before reporting a problem. Follow our Care Instructions when washing your product.
What’s your return policy?
Because every item is made just for you, we don’t offer returns and exchanges. But if there’s something wrong with your order, please fill in a “Return and Exchange form” found in “Your Orders” within 14 days so we can help resolve your issue.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please fill in a “Return and Exchange form” found in “Your Orders” within 14 days so we can help resolve your issue.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing guides!
Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please fill in a “Return and Exchange form” found in “Your Orders” within 14 days so we can help resolve your issue.
