Available now on iOS and Android.

Spotty signal or pricey data plan got you down? With Tapas you can download episodes ahead of time to read wherever you go, even when you're offline. 

Note: A Wi-Fi or 3G/4G mobile data connection is required to download episodes. By default, Tapas will warn you if you try to start a download without a Wi-Fi connection. To turn off the warning:

1. Tap the profile menu
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Downloads
4. Turn off "Download over Wi-Fi only"

 We suggest downloading over Wi-Fi to avoid mobile data charges.

Download episodes on Android or iOS 

Episodes must be unlocked before they can be downloaded. Episodes that can be downloaded will include a download button, which looks like a down arrow inside a circle.

To download an unlocked or free episode:

1. Tap on a series to view the list of episodes
2. Tap the download button on the episode(s) you wish to download 
3. When the download is complete, the icon will change to a check mark
4. Downloaded episodes are saved in Your Library under Downloads, and can be read whether you are online or offline

Note: If you're on Wi-Fi, downloads should start immediately. If you're using a mobile data connection, you may need to confirm that you wish to proceed. You can turn this warning off in Tapas under Settings > Downloads.

Remove dowloaded episodes

Downloaded episodes are automatically removed from your device after 30 days, due to copyright restrictions. You can also manually delete downloaded episodes one by one from Your Library under Downloads, or delete everything you've downloaded at once by tapping "Delete all episodes" under Settings > Downloads.

Downloading episodes is only intended for reading within Tapas, and does not grant permission to save or view content outside of the app. Copying, republishing, or redistributing copyrighted content is strictly prohibited.
