Coins are now Tapas Ink. For help with purchases and other questions, check out the new Ink section.

Introducing Tapas Ink

Ink is the new currency of Tapas, which we think better represents the spirit of our community (and our inky mascot).

Much like the ink in the pens of traditional comic artists and story writers, Tapas Ink helps power digital creators and connect them with their readers.

Just like coins, Tapas Ink may be used to unlock episodes, or given to support creators.

What happened to my coins?

All existing coins have been converted 1:1 into Ink, so your balance, and past purchases are unaffected by the update.

Bonus coins are now bonus Ink, which still has an expiration date and may only be used to unlock episodes.

Are unlocked episodes or tips affected?

Any series or episodes previously unlocked using coins are still unlocked, and the value of any tips given to creators remains unchanged.

Along with the change from coins to Ink, the Tipping program has been improved and is now called Support.
