What kind of stories can I publish on Tapas?

Serial storytelling is a type of storytelling that relies on hooking the reader early on and keeping them invested in a story that is often told in weekly installments. Think of it like a TV show or your favorite fictional podcast. Each episode is often self-contained and enjoyable in its own right, but you also want fans to be invested in the story as a whole and finish each episode dying to read next week’s update.

What kinds of stories should I post on Tapas?

We are interested in a wide variety of genres and stories on Tapas. If you are posting a quality story that you really love and are putting care into, we are happy you are posting it with us.

However, we are definitely not looking for:

• Diaries/daily journals/day-in-the-life logs. That’s what your Creator Wall is for!
• Art Gallery/Sketch Dump
• Porn without plot
• Stories that aren’t formatted for online/mobile reading - paragraphs and spaces between those paragraphs are your friends
• Content that violates our Terms of Service or our Content Guidelines
