Can I publish in languages other than English?

The short answer is yes!

The long answer is that Tapas is based in the United States, and, as a result, our audience mostly speaks and reads English. While we don't discourage you from publishing in languages other than English, it is important that you properly tag your work so that people who are interested in the languages you are writing in.

If you're writing in French, for example, you'll want to tag your comic or novel with "French" and "français." It may also be helpful to have your title in the language you are using, or a little note in parenthesis letting potential readers know that your comic isn't in English. So, you might have your title read, "La Belle et la Bête (français)."
