What is this feature and how do I use it?
Watch Ad for 1 Free Ep is an APP-ONLY feature that allows users to watch video ads in the “episode unlock pop-up” and read up to 3 premium episodes for free every day. You can use all 3 chances on one title or across different titles to explore more diverse stories. If you’d like to explore various titles, try using this feature to read!
This feature is only available on the Tapas App (version 7.2.2 (iOS, Android) or higher). If you are using an older version of our app, update to the newest version to watch ads and read for free!
**Note: We will gradually apply Watch ad for 1 free ep to more and more WUF and premium titles. Stay tuned!
Do I get to keep the episodes unlocked for free with the Watch Ad feature?
Episodes unlocked with this feature will be available for 72 hours. They will re-lock after 3 days.
Is this feature available on all titles?
This feature is currently only available on select premium and WUF titles, but Team Tapas is working hard to bring this feature to more titles, so stay tuned!
After I watch all the ads for the day, how long do I have to wait until I can watch more ads?
The Watch Ad for 1 Free Ep button will reappear after 00:00 (PST).
Once you’ve watched all the ads available for the day with this feature, go to our Offerwall where you can watch more ads for extra rewards!
After I click on the Watch Ad for 1 Free Ep button, it takes too long to load the ad or the ad doesn’t start at all.
Depending on the device environment, it may take longer to load the ad upon clicking the button.
The video ad doesn’t have a “Close” button.
You cannot close the ad while it is being played. The “Close” button will show up after you’ve watched through and reached the point where you can earn a reward.
If you close the screen before the ad is finished, you won’t be able to receive the reward for it.
I watched an ad, but did not receive the reward for it.
Most of the time, errors while playing the ad or failure to earn a reward after watching it occur due to temporary network issues.
If you run into an error multiple times, please contact our Customer Service staff at email@example.com. To help us identify and investigate the issue as quickly as possible, please send us the date/time of the error, your user ID, and the e-mail address attached to your Tapas account.
