1-Tap is a great new feature on the Tapas app that gives readers a new way to purchase episodes. Once enabled, unlock an episode by tapping on the “Next Button” in the lower navigation bar or, if you are an iOS user, by swiping from right to left! Essentially, you can unlock the next episode in 1-Tap!
This feature can be enabled on one or more series manually and turned off at any time.
Any discount applied to a premium series will automatically be applied to each episode that you unlock using 1-Tap!
If the prices change or if a series is having a special sale, you will be notified about the updated price before unlocking.
How can I disable 1-Tap™?
If you have enabled 1-Tap to a series, you can disable 1-Tap by visiting that series and tapping the 1-Tap icon next to the number of episodes. A pop-up window should appear that gives you information about 1-Tap, and the ability to turn it off. You can also disable it within an episode by tapping the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner!
How do timers work when 1-Tap™ is enabled?
If you use 1-Tap while a Wait-for-Free timer is counting down, it should remain unaffected!
