Help! I Bulk Unlocked Episodes Using the Bundle Feature and the Wrong Episodes Unlocked!

Oh no! It can definitely be frustrating when you use your hard-earned ink and the wrong episodes unlock, or it seems as if no episodes unlocked! Don't worry though, we can totally explain how bundles work!

Just a heads up about the bundle feature - there are a few ways you can use it to unlock multiple episodes at once. This is especially handy if you're trying to unlock specific episodes using this feature!*

*Please keep in mind that, if you are using app version 7.4.2 or later, in order to get to the Bundle Unlock screen, you will need to click the Use Ink button within the unlock screen:

Unlocking Episodes Using the Banner

At the top of each series that is a part of the Bundle Deals section, there will be a banner advertising the bundle deal:

However, if you initiate the bundle purchase by clicking the banner, please keep in mind that this will automatically attempt to unlock the earliest episodes you have available to unlock! So if you'd like to bundle and bulk-unlock later episodes, you will need to manually select the episode in the dropdown that you'd like to unlock.

Unlocking Episodes While Clicked on a Random Episode

In instances like this, if you attempt to process the bundle purchase while clicked on a random episode, the bundle will automatically attempt to unlock the next available episodes.

For example, let's say you're trying to unlock episodes 80-90 of a series that has 120 currently available episodes.

If you try to initiate this purchase by clicking on episode 4 and you haven't already permanently unlocked episodes 4-14, those are the episodes that would unlock in a 10-episode bundle deal. But if you click on episode 80, then you will be able to unlock episodes 80-90! This is why the text states that you are unlocking  [Ep. X-Z] (example: Ep. 80-90).

However, if you are attempting to process this bundle when you are currently clicked on one of the latest episodes of the series and there either: 

1) Aren't enough episodes left in the series to complete a full bundle unlock, or

2) There aren't any episodes left past the episode you are currently clicked on

The app will automatically bundle unlock however many episodes are available past the current episode you're clicked on, and will then go back to unlock the remaining episodes you paid for in the bundle from the beginning of the series!

This is because you cannot unlock episodes that haven't been released yet. Using the previous example, if you were currently clicked on episode 120 and you wanted to unlock 10 episodes, episodes 120-130 wouldn't be the ones you would unlock. This is because those episodes aren't available, and it wouldn't be possible to charge you for episodes that don't exist/haven't been written yet.

In other words, if you would like to unlock a specific subset of episodes, you'll need to click on that particular episode instead of using the banner, as the banner will always default to unlock the first available episodes that you have that haven't been permanently unlocked yet!

You will also be able to see which episodes are about to be unlocked on the page before you click the purchase option:

This acts as a feature to make sure you understand which episodes you're unlocking before completing the purchase.

So if it appears as if you utilized the bundle and no episodes unlocked, check the beginning of the series for any WUF episodes you previously unlocked that have re-locked! If you attempted to process a bundle through the banner/at the end of a series, those episodes are the ones that would've unlocked.
