We know it be frustrating to change your mind after spending Ink unlocking episodes of a series that turns out to not be your favorite - especially if you're just trying to grab a free-timer episode or save up for something specific – but unfortunately, we are unable to return Ink that is used to unlock episodes or given to support creators.
We've tried to make using Ink to unlock episodes and support creators easy and intuitive, without introducing unnecessary steps to get in your way. This has worked very well in limiting accidental spending for most people.
Because episodes unlock instantly and the support you send is immediately added to the balance of the creator (the artist, author, or publisher), we are unable to re-lock episodes or un-give Ink. We see it as unfair to the creators who received that support, as well as to other readers who unlocked and read the episode by buying or earning Ink. To us, it's like taking money back out of the tip jar at your favorite cafe, or returning a book after you've read it.
I spent real money on accident!
If you accidentally purchased Ink in Tapas via Google Play or iTunes (i.e. spent real money in the Ink Shop) or had another problem with a transaction and haven't spent the Ink yet, let us know!
