Change your password
- Log in to your Tapas settings page.
- Scroll down to Change password
- Type your new password
- Retype your new password, and click Save
- Type your old password to confirm the update
Reset your password
- Go to the forgot password page
- Enter your email address and click Send
- Check your email inbox for a message with the subject "Reset your password"
- Click the link in the email
- Type your new password
- Retype your new password, and click Save
Mobile & tablet
Change your password
- Log in to Tapas
- Open the main menu
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on your account name to edit your profile
- Tap on Change password in the Private Information section near the bottom
- Type your current password
- Type your new password, and tap Set Password
Reset your password
- Log out of Tapas
- Tap Sign up or Log in from the main menu or Settings
- Tap the green email button
- Tap or swipe to select Log in
- Tap Forgot your password? below the email and password fields
- Enter your email address and click Send
- Check your email inbox for a message with the subject "Reset your password"
- Click the link in the email
- Type your new password
- Retype your new password, and click Save
Troubleshooting
Not receiving the password reset email?
- Check your junk/spam folders
- Check you entered the correct email address for your Tapas account
Reset link not working?
- Try the above steps again
- Make sure you open the reset link in a web browser, not in the Tapas app directly
- Try copying and pasting the link from the email into a different browser, or a private/incognito window
Note: For your security, password reset links become invalid once they've been used. If you're unable to reset your password, use the forgot password page again to get a new link.
