As with many other apps and online services, you must have an active email address in order to create a Tapas account. Tapas also requires that you have access to this email address in order to change your password. This is a security measure to protect your account against unauthorized access.
If you've lost access to your email address (due to a lost password, or some other reason), we cannot help you regain access to your account. However, there are a couple of other things you can try:
Regain Tapas access, when you still have your account password
Even if you've lost access to the email address associated with your Tapas account, you may still be able to log in if you remember your Tapas password. Try to sign in to your Tapas account, and then immediately change your email address to one you can access.
Once you've verified the new email address, you'll be able to reset your password or make other changes your account.
Contact your email provider
If you can no longer access your email address AND are unable to log in to Tapas (for example, if you can't remember the password), you can try contacting your email service provider for help.
Only your email provider has the ability to help you regain access to your email address, whether you need to reset your password or reactivate a deactivated email address. Tapas cannot contact your email provider on your behalf.
