Love it? Share it (The Right Way)!
We Welcome Fan Creativity
At Tapas, we love seeing fans share their passion—through memes, reviews, edits, and other creative expressions. We also believe original stories deserve original respect.
This guide is created to help fans share content responsibly, while supporting the creators behind the work.
What You Can Do
You’re welcome to use Tapas content (artworks, screenshots and panels) under these conditions:
- Non-commercial, fan-driven purposes only, such as memes, commentary, reactions, and reviews.
- Only from free episodes, and within 30% of the episode’s total content.
⚠️Please note that the 30% is a maximum limit and should be applied with sensitivity to the context of each story.
⚠️Episodes marked “Wait Until Free” do not count as free episodes. - You must not modify or distort the original story.
⚠️Please do not edit dialogues, change context, images or add your own translations. - Only official translations serviced on Tapas are permitted.
- Include proper credit to the creator and platform.
e.g. “[Title] by [Creator], available on Tapas”
What You Shouldn’t Do
To protect the creators and the platform, we ask you not to:
- Repost or distribute full episodes or major plot arcs
- Remove credits or falsely claim authorship
- Use Tapas content for commercial gain without permission
- Operate accounts dedicated to recap for monetization or mass-reporting
- Reference or link to piracy or unauthorized websites in any form including but not limited to captions, comments, or visuals
Additional Considerations
Even if your content follows all of the above, we may still request a takedown in rare cases (e.g. at the creator’s request, due to sensitive content or under special licensing circumstances).
We kindly ask for your understanding if this occurs—Team Tapas is committed to balancing creativity and creator rights.
